Dead Space
Genre:Dead Space is a sci-fi, survivor horror video game that follows the main character Isaac Clarke as he tries to survive an attack on his ship. The game has Sci-fi elements as it takes place on various space ships that are in outer space. The game also has horror elements as the enemy are these strange alien like creatures that jump scare the player. The game also has horror elements as it uses a dark colour palette and shadows to create a eery atmosphere.
Outline Game Plan:
To appeal to the horror theme at the start of the game is where the corridor scene will take place. The corridor will be long and narrow with a heavy dark tone which is light up by a broken light which turns off and on. On the end of the corridor there will be a door which the character can interact with in order to open the door. The door will be a large slide door and when triggered it will slide up the wall in order to show the entrance.
My science fiction corridor will appear at the start/introduction of the game after the character wakes up and explores the ship.
The character will walk through the corridor looking around and seeing things such as broken lights and toy ships scattered across the floor, the character will then walk toward the door where there will be a bright blue button, the character will then press the button in order to open the door.
After the character has opened the door he will walk and find a holographic display of the solar system that his ship is located on
Sci-fi Corridors:

These sci-fi environments would be used in games when the player is exploring a space ship with in the game and are trying to get from one point of the ship to another wow.
